Several books are written worldwide in the fields of infertility that are presented to the scientific community. However, there is a necessity for publishing a comprehensive book in the field of infertility that can simultaneously identify anatomical embryological and physiological aspects of reproductive organs and pathology with scientific principles and international standards for researchers and users. For this reason, the textbook of Reproductive Medicine was written by Dr. AboTaleb Saremi  the founder of IVF in Iran - that is the result of his experiences. Dr. Saremi has efforts in order to improve the knowledge and techniques in the field of infertility in recent decades and has now written a book for the optimal use of students and researchers entitle “Textbook of Reproductive Medicine”. Sarem-book Publication honored for published this book.To express the issues of infertility, it is required to understand the anatomy, embryology and physiology of the reproductive organs, so in this book at the beginning of the related chapters, a summary of the basis of the reproductive organs are mentioned as reminders to simplify infertility, so that there is no need to refer to anatomy and physiology texts. 

• Providing pathogenesis of diseases and classification of causes of infertility based on pathophysiology of each problem, with clinical algorithmic approach are one of the important features of this book.

• Stepwise diagnostic approach and investigation of the causes of infertility has been practically written to help the readers in this area.

• In this book, treatment of infertility has been developed according to the accepted worldwide standards.

• It has been tried to provide the advance process of the ART and future of this branch of science for researchers. Overally, this book has a preface, three sections and 15 chapters (in 675 pages), as follows: 

Section I: Male infertility:

1. Anatomy and embryology of male reproduction system

2. The physiology of male reproduction system

3. The pathology and physiopathology of male reproduction system

4. How to determine the causes of male infertility

5. Diagnostic approach to male infertility

6. Treatment of male infertility

Section II: Female infertility:

7. Anatomy and embryology reproductive system

8. The physiology of female reproduction system

9. Causes of women’s infertility and female factors forms

10. Diagnostic approaches to women’s infertility problems

Section III: Assisted reproductive techniques (ART):

11. History of IVF in the world and in Iran

12. Clinical measures related to ART processes

13. Laboratory (Practical laboratory methods in IVF)

14. Operation Room

15. The novel methods, techniques, and developments in ART
